Dream of New Beginnings

In some Earth-wisdom and indigenous traditions, this is the time of year to rest and be in a more "yin" state. This is a time to not plan too much or do too much and see if you can conserve your energy (just like the bear) for the warmer months ahead. By doing so, life can feel more balanced and harmonious, like you were able to recharge your batteries.

This is also a time to focus on dreaming and tapping into what you want to grow and bloom into the next chapter and season of your life.

Dreams can bring about powerful insight and guidance.
Use this time to pay attention to what messages are coming to you
from your dreams.
Try keeping a dream journal and see what trends you see.
During our waking days, we also day dream. See if you can pay attention to those thoughts and images that come in during the day. Notice where your attention is being pulled. What wisdom is being whispered to you. What new beginning is drawing your attention? What dream seeds do you want to plant?

And if you don't usually dream or don't remember your dreams, that's ok. One thing to try before bed is to set an intention to recall your dream - "I will remember my dream. OR I am open to visions."

With the new moon this week and the planets aligning, it's the perfect time to review where you are, let go of what isn't you anymore, and deeply listen to your soul's dreams.
